Comunicato stampa sull'esito dell'incontro di fine anno di Rinnovamento
Si è tenuto ieri sera, martedì 14 Dicembre 2010, dalle ore 21 fino a oltre mezzanotte, l'incontro pubblico di fine anno promosso da Rinnovamento al Circolo La Pergola, in piazza a Vecchiano.
Erano presenti i consiglieri uscenti, amiche e amici che stanno preparandosi per candidarsi nel 2011, esponenti di diverse realtà civiche e politiche, fra i quali importanti esponenti del PDL locale e provinciale, come Fabrizio Grossi e Giacomo Cappelli.
Giovanni Francesconi è stato invitato a raccontare la battaglia del Comitato La Fornace contro l'antenna. Rinnovamento ha espresso tutta la propria solidarietà e ha promesso di inserire lo spostamento dell'infrastruttura nei propri impegni elettorali per il 2011.
E' stato invitato anche Alessandro Ghelardi, esponente del Partito Socialista, che ha spiegato, di persona, con maggiore ampiezza, le cose che ha scritto recentemente sulla Nazione, sulla fine della collaborazione socialista con il PD.
Ione Orsini, Glauco Sbragia, Lino Mannini, Claudio Chiappalone, Mila Piaggeschi, Maria Gaetana Chinnici, hanno parlato del lavoro svolto in questa legislatura e annunciato il proprio impegno a lavorare per una alternativa nel 2011.
Dai cittadini e dai diversi esponenti politici presenti è venuto un ringraziamento per il lavoro di Rinnovamento, che ha operato in condizioni durissime, contro una amministrazione arrogante, incapace di ascoltare, ormai stanca, svogliata, inetta.
Non sarà il solito attivismo di fine legislatura, come l'improvviso risveglio che porta l'amministrazione a presentare, fuori tempo massimo, il nuovo Regolamento Urbanistico, a porre rimedio agli ultimi dieci anni di declino vissuti da Vecchiano sotto l'amministrazione Pardini, e ai guasti dovuti alla permanenza al potere sempre degli stessi da ormai più di trent'anni.
Dall'assemblea di Rinnovamento si è alzata, ancora una volta, con umiltà, ma anche con determinazione, la proposta a tutti i gruppi e a tutti i cittadini interessati, di lavorare insieme per una alternativa unitaria all'attuale governo comunale.
Questo lavoro comune per una lista unitaria dovrà essere pubblico, trasparente, caratterizzato dalla consultazione dei cittadini, anche attraverso primarie, senza pregiudizi, senza steccati, senza ipocrisie.
La costruzione di una lista unitaria dovrà effettuarsi entro tempi giusti e ragionevoli. Altrimenti sarà evidente che sono in corso operazioni, da parte dei soliti tegami, per dividere le energie nuove, a tutto vantaggio dei soliti noti.
L'unità si dovrà fare attorno a una limpida proposta civica e politica. Si dovrà far tesoro dell'esperienza e anche degli errori, fatti dall'opposizione nel 2006 e nel 2001. Chi pretendesse di ripartire da zero, presterebbe il fianco a chi, ancora una volta, con la scusa di cambiare tutto, non vuole cambiare nulla.
Rinnovamento cercherà il raccordo con ogni altra realtà civica e politica disponibile, offrendo il proprio contributo.
Continueremo a raccordarci, sui grandi problemi territoriali, del parco, del mare, del lago, con l'amministrazione Lunardini di Viareggio e con personalità super partes come il presidente del consiglio comunale di Viareggio, Paolo Spadaccini.
