out today “Unknown People” (Folkclubethnosuoni/IRD), la seconda fatica discografica dei siciliani “Terrae - compagnia di musiche popolari”: un disco di “musica popolare contemporanea” di grande forza melodica e   ritmica. “C’è cu cci pensa”,è il titolo del primo singolo.

“Unknown People” nasce dall’idea di raccontare, in musica, alcuni momenti significativi della storia siciliana, nei quali il popolo si è ribellato al potere per rivendicare un proprio ruolo e di come questi moti popolari siano sempre stati repressi, con ferocia, nel sangue e nell’oblio delle cronache e della storia ufficiale. Uno in francese, per ricordare la cacciata degli angioini; uno in spagnolo per raccontare la speranza di cambiamento rappresentata dalla guerra civile spagnola; uno in inglese, che racchiude in poche, significative strofe il senso di tutto il lavoro.
